The Berkeley World Business Analytics Awards, organized by the Fisher Center for Business Analytics at the UC Berkeley Haas School of Business, celebrate excellence in applied business analytics. They focus on ethical, impactful, and innovative projects and recognize individuals and projects that use data-driven approaches to address critical social, environmental, and technological challenges.

Since 2017, the Fisher Center for Business Analytics has awarded the Berkeley World Business Analytics Awards to celebrate impactful, ethical, and humane analytics work by recognizing leaders in applied business analytics, projects that impact social and environmental issues, and innovative work by young professionals in the following categories:

Recognizes innovative and inclusive projects addressing social and/or environmental issues, anticipating and minimizing risks through the use of technology.

Honors incredible projects that showcase innovation, dedication, and a heartfelt commitment to making our planet a better place for all.

Leader of the Year Award

Stands as a beacon, celebrating an individual’s exceptional vision, courage, and unwavering commitment to driving impactful transformations.

Eligibility Criteria
  • The applicant is less than 30 years old,
  • The applicant is involved in one or several projects in applied business analytics.
Eligibility Criteria
  • The project is innovative,
  • The project is inclusive,
  • The project addresses social and/or environmental issues to anticipate and minimize risks through the use of technology.
Eligibility Criteria
  • They are working in the field of applied business analytics,
  • They are leading one or several projects in applied business analytics,
  • They are involved in inclusion and empowerment,
  • They are chosen by the Nomination Committee.

Nomination Process:

  • Candidates can be self-nominated or nominated by peers.
  • Nominations require a detailed description of the candidate’s project or work, emphasizing their impact, innovation, and ethical contributions.
